TRUCKERS HONORED THIS SATURDAY NIGHT AT KERN COUNTY RACEWAY
The country band Alabama may have said is best in the song Forty Hour Week – “This is for the one who drives the big rig, up and down the road”. This night IS for all the men and women of the trucking industry that keep this county moving. Golden State Peterbilt presents “A Salute to the American Trucker” this Saturday night at Kern County Raceway, sponsored by Ten-West Towing, Cox Petroleum Transport, and Utility Trailer Sales of Central California.
The night will begin with KCRP’s weekly fan favorite, the On-Track autograph session featuring NAS-Trike races for the kids. Fans will get a special treat as a dozen custom show trucks will be on display as the fans get to meet the race drivers and truck drivers.
Following the National Anthem and Truck Parade, the full night of racing will begin, featuring NASCAR Late Model Twin Main Events, NASCAR Super Stocks, NASCAR Modified Series, INEX Legends, Mini Dwarfs, and The JoRonCo Rentals RV Race of Destruction.
“KCRP looks forward to honoring the men and women that are part of the trucking industry this Saturday,” stated Larry Collins, KCRP General Manager “It’s our way of saying thank you to these hard working folks with a night of great racing and family fun.”
Spectator gates open at 5:30 pm, on track autograph session at 6:00 pm, and racing at 7:00pm. Adult tickets start at just $10 and are available at the box office on race day or online at www.kernraceway.com.
