ROUNDS TWO and THREE of the TRIPLE CROWN coming to the DIRT TRACK at KCRP

 

 

Bakersfield, CA (November17, 2021) — Rounds 2 and 3 are set for the “SUNOCO/ Motor City Buick GMC Triple Crown Challenge” for December 3rd and 4th at the 1/3-mile clay oval at The Dirt Track at KCRP.  The racing line up for this two-day event will feature A-Mods, B-Mods, Hobby Stocks and American Stocks.

The Friday, December 3rd and Saturday, December 4th event will pay $2,000, and $3,000 respectively to the winners of the A-Mod main events, with a minimum $200 to start each A-Mod main event.

 

The final event of the Triple Crown on Saturday, December 4th will be the “Jerm ‘The Worm’ Memorial”, named after Jeremy Smith, who passed away suddenly on December 4th, 2020.  Jeremy promoted and announced races around California, he was a huge racing fan and friend to many, this race is to celebrate Jeremy.

 

For the B-Mods, the Triple Crown will pay the event winners $1,250 on Friday, December 3rd and $2,000 on Saturday, December 4th, with a minimum of $150 to start for the B-Mods main events.
