Bakersfield, CA (August 10, 2020) – Due to circumstances beyond our control, the two upcoming race events scheduled for September 5th and 12th at Kern County Raceway will be re-scheduled for later this fall.  The September 11th USAC event and the September 12th event at the Dirt Track at KCRP have been cancelled.

“We are doing all we can to get back to racing, but sometimes you have to play the cards that you are dealt,” stated Kern County Raceway GM, Larry Collins.  “We are in the middle of our summer break and we know everyone was looking forward to getting back to racing at KCRP.”

Kern County Raceway hosted its 2020 Season Opener on March 14th, then came back with two race events in June without fans in the grandstands.

“We will race late into the fall and into the winter months if necessary.  We are already planning some early season events next year to catch up on the events lost in 2020.” Collins added.
