Nov. 15 Event at Kevin Harvick’s Kern Raceway Postponed by Inclement Weather
Rained-Out Weekend Moves CARS Tour West Championship Finale to Dec. 20
BAKERSFIELD, Calif. () —
The Kern County Classic scheduled for this Saturday, Nov. 15, at Kevin Harvick’s Kern Raceway has been postponed due to inclement weather.
Due to unfavorable weather forecasts for the weekend, track and series officials determined there was no reasonable opportunity to complete the full race program safely and effectively. In the best interest of race fans, competitors, and teams, the event has been rescheduled for Saturday, Dec. 20, with additional event details to follow.
“Unfortunately, the weather forecast has turned to show rain throughout the entire weekend, leaving no choice but to postpone. This isn’t a decision we take lightly, but it’s simply the reality of the situation. Rescheduling allows us to give fans and teams the full championship experience they deserve on December 20.”
— Tim Huddleston, owner of Kern Raceway and CARS Tour West
The Dec. 20 event will serve as the NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series Championship finale for the Kevin Harvick’s Kern Raceway Limited Late Models and Legend divisions, as well as the championship season finales for the Spears CARS Tour West, presented by Hoosier Racing Tire, including the Pro Late Model and Limited Pro Late Model series, and the MMI Legends Tour West, presented by Frank’s Radio Service.
Following the event, the CARS Tour West / Kevin Harvick’s Kern Raceway Championship Awards Banquet will take place at Kern Raceway, where each 2025 division champion will be recognized and celebrated.
