George Snider Classic This Weekend!

The 5th Annual George Snider Classic, honoring sprint car legend and 22 time Indy 500 racer, George “Ziggy” Snider is this weekend at Kern County Raceway. The annual season ending event has been expanded to two days on two tracks!

The “Ziggy” Classic starts Saturday, November 3rd on Dirt, and will feature Non-Wing 360 Sprint Cars, WRS Winged Sprints, and Midgets. Spectator gates will open at 4:00 pm, with opening ceremonies at 6:00 pm.  Adult General Admission tickets are $15 dollars. Seniors 65 +, Kids 6 to 15, and Active Military $10 dollars, KIDS 5 and under are FREE!

The following day, Sunday, November 4th the fastest cars to ever hit the big half-mile at KCRP! The King of the Wing Sprint cars will run their final race of the season. In addition to the King of the Wing Sprints, The Super Stocks will compete in round two of the “Super Stock Shootout”. Spectator gates will open at 1:30 pm, with opening ceremonies at 3:00 pm.  Adult General Admission tickets are $20 dollars. Seniors 65 +, Kids 6 to 15, and Active Military $10 dollars, KIDS 5 and under are FREE!
