DIRT AND ASPHALT DOUBLE HEADER TO KICK OFF SEASON AT KERN COUNTY RACEWAY
A lot of great things are happening at Kern County Raceway in 2019, but it all starts with two days of racing at “Bakersfield’s Place to Race”
In less than two weeks the engines will roar back to life as the 2019 season starts on Friday Night, March 15th at The Dirt Track at KCRP with some exciting open wheel action! The action packed weekend will start with the return of the 360 Non-Wing Sprint Cars, The POWRi BSRA Midgets, and the Bakersfield Hard Tops. Adult GA Tickets are $20, with spectator gates opening at 6:00 pm and Racing kicking off at 7:30 pm.
The excitement will switch to the asphalt on Saturday, March 16th as KGET Channel 17 and Life FM 88.3 present Faith and Family Night. Kern County Raceway is inviting all Church’s to the races! Come out for a great night of Fun, Fellowship, and Racing! This event marks the 6th annual “Faster Pastor” race, a staple of Faith and Family Night at KCRP. This year, the Pastors will be racing Skid Plate Cars!
Completing the racing line up on Saturday Night will be nearly every division that competes at KCRP on a regular basis! The NASCAR Late Models, NASCAR Super Stocks, NASCAR Modifieds, Mini Dwarfs, INEX Bandoleros, and The exciting new division, The HOT STOCKS! Adult GA Tickets are only $10!! Spectator Gates open at 5:30 pm and Racing will begin at 7:00 pm.
