COMPETITOR REMINDERS – APRIL 19, 2025 NASCAR WEEKLY SERIES EVENT

Featuring: Limited Pro Late Models, Spec Racers, INEX Legends, Crown Vics, and Jr. Spec Late Models
Presented as part of the NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series

**This Event will run in conjunction with the HotPit AutoFest drift event. This will be the only tandem event on the 2025 Schedule**

PIT REGISTRATION & CREDENTIALS

Friday, April 18

• NASCAR Credentials Open: 4:00 PM

Saturday, April 19

• NASCAR Credentials & Pit Gates Open: 10:30 AM

Pit Registration Location: Credentials Building located in the crew parking lot outside Turns 1 & 2 along Raceway Blvd.
Pit Area: Located inside the oval track. Special parking requests must be submitted no later than Friday, April 18 to be considered.
Crew Parking: Located outside Turns 1 & 2.

DIVISIONS COMPETING

• Limited Pro Late Models – 40 Laps

• Spec Racers (Spec Lates, Spec Trucks, Pro Trucks) – 30 Laps

• INEX Legends – 30 Laps

• Crown Vics – 25 Laps

• Jr. Spec Late Models – 25 Laps

TESTING & PRACTICE OPPORTUNITIES

Friday, April 18

• NASCAR Open Practice (All Divisions): 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM

• 1/2 Mile $300 per Car
• 1/4 Mile $150 per Car

FUEL & TIRES

• Spec Fuel (Limited Pro Late Models Only): SUNOCO 110

  • Required for all LPLM competitors

  • Reserve fuel by emailing competitors@kernraceway.com

• Tires:

  • Limited Pro Late Models will compete on Hoosier 980 tires

  • All race tires must be purchased through Hoosier Tire West at (559) 485-4612

  • Confirm tire release timing with Kern Raceway Officials

PIT PASS PRICING

• Saturday, April 19:

  • $40 for NASCAR/INEX Members

    • ALL LPL/SR/CV DRIVERS ARE REQUIRED TO HAVE A NASCAR LICENSE.

    • ALL INEX DRIVERS ARE REQUIRED TO HAVE INEX LICENSE. 
    • CREW MEMBERS ARE STRONGLY RECOMMENDED TO HAVE NASCAR/INEX LICENSE

  • $50 for Non-Members
    Thursday & Friday pit passes are included with test fees if participating in scheduled testing.

TECH & QUALIFYING REMINDERS

• Transponders: Required for all practice and race sessions

• Duplicate Car Numbers: Permitted, but cars must display a 4-inch first initial of the driver’s last name behind the door number on both sides

• Mandatory Decals: All required contingency decals must be in place to be eligible for purse payouts

TRACK POLICIES & SAFETY

• No BBQs, or open flames allowed in the pit area

• There will be NO PERSONAL VEHICLES permitted in the Infield for this event. Due to HotPit AutoFest space will be limited.

• No golf carts, scooters, quads, or bicycles in pits or parking areas

• Spotters: Must monitor Race Control at 466.0375

• Minors in Pits: Allowed only with a completed minor release form and adult supervision at all times

• 12:45 PM – INEX Legends

• 1:00 PM – Spec Racers (Spec Lates / Spec Trucks / Pro Trucks)

• 1:20 PM – Limited Pro Late Models

Drivers Meeting

• 2:15 PM – Mandatory NASCAR Drivers Meeting (Infield Garage)

Qualifying (3:50 PM – 4:50 PM)

• Group Qualifying for 1/4-mile divisions

• Single Car Qualifying for 1/2-mile divisions

  • Crown Vics

  • INEX Legends

  • Jr. Spec Late Models

  • Spec Racers

  • Limited Pro Late Models

Opening Ceremonies

• 6:00 PM

MAIN EVENTS – IN ORDER OF RUNNING

• Jr. Spec Late Models – 25 Laps / 25 Minutes

• Spec Racers (Spec Lates / Spec Trucks / Pro Trucks) – 30 Laps / 30 Minutes

• INEX Legends – 30 Laps / 30 Minutes

• Crown Vics – 25 Laps / 25 Minutes

• Limited Pro Late Models – 40 Laps / 40 Minutes

• HotPit AutoFest Showcase Rounds – Immediately following the LPLM Feature
