Cassidy Hinds Travels from Colorado to the October Classic at Kern County Raceway

Bakersfield, CA – The state of Colorado will send two female competitors to Kern County Raceway Park this weekend, to compete in the Spears Pro Late Model Series presented by Sigma Performance Services. Cassidy Hinds will join Holly Clark in this weekend’s “34th Annual October Classic” in the “Salute to the Oil and gas Industry 80”. For Hinds, it will be her fifth start in the series, all of them at Kern County Raceway Park.
Hinds is looking forward to this weekend’s event, competing against different competitors, at the big half-mile, while looking to improve upon her previous results.
“I love racing in the SRL Pro Late Models”, Hinds stated. “I feel like I get a different driver experience when I race in the series, and I can’t wait to go back to Kern this weekend and see if we can come out with a better finish than we’ve had in the past!”
Hinds was a regular in the Colorado National Speedway (CNS) Super Late Model Division in 2022. She finished as the Rookie-of-the-Year runner-up and sixth overall. In 2021, she was sixth in the Pro Trucks at CNS, and fifth in 2019. Her Spears Pro Late Model results have found the Arvada, CO driver with three top-10 finishes in her four starts with a best run of ninth, twice. She will be back in her Naake – Klauer Motorsports Ford sponsored by the Friends of Jaclyn Foundation.
The Pro Late Models presented by Sigma Performance Services are set to race for a $2,500 winner’s share, in the “Salute to the Oil and Gas Industry 80”.
