The Battle of the Harvicks

NASCAR Cup Series veteran and Bakersfield native Kevin Harvick will battle his 12-year-old-son, Keelan, for the first time ever around Kern Raceway’s half-mile oval! The duo will compete in the night’s main event, the Spears CARS Tour West, presented by Hoosier Racing Tire, Pro Late Model Series twin 75-lap feature.

In addition to the Spears CARS Tour West Pro Late Models, enjoy an exciting lineup of racing competition including the NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series Limited Pro Late Models, MMI Legends Tour West, presented by Frank’s Radio Service, Jr Spec Late Models, Crown Vics, Spec Racers and some special surprises!

Buckle up for the Battle of the Harvicks!
The duo will compete in the debut of the SPEARS CARS Tour West, presented by Hoosier Racing Tire,  Pro Late Model divisionand it’s not just about the win, it’s for bragging rights in the Harvick household!

A native of Bakersfield, Kevin will return to his hometown to race at the track that bears his name and pilot the No. 29 Hunt Brothers® Pizza late model, a number that is significant and synonymous with the NASCAR champion’s storied career!

The younger Harvick, fresh off his first Limited Late Model win in the Icebreaker at Florence Motor Speedway, will climb behind the wheel of the No. 62 Hunt Brothers Pizza late model, a number he has run his entire young career and one with family ties three generations deep to his grandfather John Paul Linville, DeLana Harvick’s father.
