Celebrating Kern County’s Oil Industry!

Join us Saturday, April 20, as we celebrate Kern County’s local Oil Industry with a night of racing featuring the ARCA Menards Series West, Spears SRL Pro Late Models, Legends, Crown Vics, along with an awesome destruction display from the Mayhem Machine, and a fireworks finale!

Get ready to dive into the heart-pounding world of motorsports entertainment right here in Bakersfield. Experience the thrill of on-track action across both the asphalt 1/2 mile oval and the dynamic infield 1/4 mile oval.

ARCA Menards Series West “MMI Oil Workers 150” presented by West Coast Stock Car Hall of Fame — The ARCA Menards Series West tackles the half-mile oval at Kevin Harvick’s Kern Raceway! See NASCAR’s stars of tomorrow battle it out for an exciting main feature as the field goes hammer down lap after lap! This is foot-to-floor, door-to-door short track racing action from some of the best in the west. 

Mayhem Machine Destruction Demonstration! — See the MAYHEM MACHINE in person during Oil Industry Night at Kevin Harvick’s Kern Raceway! This rolling battering ram is known to launch cars into the air, split vans in half, and absolutely destroy anything unfortunate enough to get in its way!

SPEARS SRL Pro Late Models — See the blistering fast racing action of the Spears SRL Pro Late Models as they tackle the half-mile oval at Kevin Harvick’s Kern Raceway!

INEX Legend Cars — Powered by compact Yamaha engines, get ready to see these race cars rocket around the track for some incredibly quick and exciting racing action!

 Crown Vic Racers — Whether it’s a Ford Crown Vic or a Mercury Grand Marquis, this series is one of the fastest growing arms of grassroots racing—this is real “stock car” competition!
