Peterson and Huddleston Shine as American 250 Caps Fourth of July Celebration at Kevin Harvick's Kern Raceway

The Fourth of July brought a full house to Kevin Harvick's Kern Raceway as fans packed the grandstands for the American 250, an evening filled with racing, family entertainment, and a patriotic celebration that carried throughout the night.


The 100-lap Limited Pro Late Model feature lived up to its billing with Jeffery Peterson putting together a strong, consistent run to claim the American 250 victory. Peterson crossed the finish line 3.024 seconds ahead of Cody Kiemele after pacing the field in the marquee event. Joey Iest completed the podium in third, while Christian Bazen finished fourth after all four drivers completed the century-distance feature.



The Kern Spec Racers delivered one of the night's closest finishes in their 50-lap special, which featured a midway break before a sprint to the finish. Tanner Huddleston emerged victorious after holding off a determined TJ Moon by just 1.870 seconds. Rider Gardner claimed third, narrowly edging Ryan Partridge by only 0.017 seconds in an exciting race to the checkered flag.



Away from the racing, fans enjoyed a full evening of entertainment that included the Mayhem Machine exhibition, drag a boat races, a live band, an on-track autograph session, and plenty of giveaways for fans of all ages. The celebration wrapped up with a spectacular fireworks show, capping one of the biggest and most festive nights of the season at Kevin Harvick's Kern Raceway.
