NEWS & NOTES – BIG MONTH of JUNE at KERN COUNTY RACEWAY

 

JUNE 7th – BIG NIGHT at THE DIRT TRACK: On Friday night June 7th, the Dirt Track at KCRP comes alive with the second race of the “Holders A-Mods Triple Crown” which awards $1,500 to the race winner, second and third place finishers will be awarded $500 and $300 respectively.  June 7th will also feature the second race of the “Motor City GMC United Series” for the B-Mods, which offers up a $5,000-point fund for the six-race series between KCRP and Bakersfield Speedway, plus the champion of the series will also be awarded a new GM Crate Motor from Motor City. The June 7th line up will also feature the Hobby Stocks, the Open QRC’s and Mini Stocks.

 

JUNE 15th – WE HONOR FIRST RESPONDERS: On June 15th Hall Ambulance presents a “Night to Honor First Responders”.   The Super Stock teams at Kern County Raceway will also compete in their own triple crown event in June.  On June 15th, it’s the second race of the Motor City / Holders Super Stock Triple Crown”.  The “Triple Crown” will payout $1,000 to the winner of each race each and will award the second and third place awards to $600 and $400 respectively.  The overall best driver in the three events will be awarded new “GM Performance CT350 602 Crate Engine” from Motor City GMC.  June 15th will also feature Late Models, Modifieds, Hot Stocks, Mini Dwarfs, INEX Bandos and the “RV Race of Destruction”.  There will be a Friday night practice.

 

JUNE 29th – FIREWORKS, SOUTHWEST TOUR & MODIFIEDS: On Saturday, June 29th, Bulwark FR presents what may be its biggest event since the track’s grand opening in 2013. The annual fireworks show at Kern County Raceway is one of the area’s biggest and best of the year, for 2019 the event will feature for the first time the SPEARS SRL Southwest Tour Series and the Spears Manufacturing Modified Series presented by Lucas Oil (formerly the Lucas Oil Modified Series).  This nationally televised event will also feature, INEX Legends and Mini Dwarfs.

 

MORE JUNE 29th – INEX LEGENDS NATIONAL QUALIFIER: The June 29th race for the INEX Legends will be an INEX National Qualifier, and will be part of the ‘2019 KCRP Legends Triple Crown’ which increases the pay to the top three drivers to $700 for the winner, $400 for second and $300 for third.
