LOCAL FIRST RESPONDERS HONORED THIS SATURDAY NIGHT AT KERN COUNTY RACEWAY

A Night to Honor First Responders presented by Hall Ambulance and sponsored by Whelen Engineering, and ZOLL will be a great night of family fun and racing.

  • FIRST RESPONDERS HONORED AT KCRP

They are the ones that run toward danger, not away from it. They protect us, keep us safe, and help us at our most vulnerable times. They are first responders. Police, Sheriff, Fire, EMS and Dispatchers. This Saturday Night, Hall Ambulance presents a night say Thank you and Honor the job they do.

  • RV RACE OF DESTRUCTION AND NASCAR ACTION

Eight race divisions will take to the track on Saturday Night, June 15th including twin main events for the NASCAR Late Models, plus the NASCAR Super Stocks, NASCAR Modified Series, Hot Stocks, Mini Dwarfs, INEX Bandoleros, and the always exciting and crazy RV RACE OF DESTRUCTION!!

  • FIRST RESPONDER VEHICLE PARADE

Police Cars, Fire Trucks, Ambulances, SWAT Vehicles, CHP Motorcycles, and even a HELICOPTER will be on display during the on-track auto graph session. During the national anthem, the vehicles will take a parade lap around the half-mile, After the national anthem, the chopper will take off from Raymond’s Trophy Victory Lane.

 

  • ROUND #2 OF THE MOTOR CITY GMC/HOLDERS AC SUPER STOCK TRIPLE CROWN

The NASCAR Super Stocks have a little more to race for this Saturday night, as round #2 of the Triple Crown takes the green flag. The “Triple Crown” will payout a record $1,000 to the winner of each race and will award the second and third place awards to $600 and $400 respectively.  The overall best driver in the three events will be awarded new “GM Performance CT350 602 Crate Engine” from Motor City GMC.

 

  • HANDS ONLY CPR TRAINING

Race fans will have an opportunity to take a quick and easy hands only CPR training session. Multiple booths will be set up, with instructors ready to help.

 

  • BUCKET BRIGADE RACE

In this throw back to the early days of firefighting, two teams will have to transfer water from one container to another, using only buckets. The team that can transfer the most water in a specific amount of time is the winner.

 

Gates for A Night to Honor First Responders will open at 5:00 pm, On-track autograph session at 6:00 pm, Racing at 7:00 pm

Adult General admission tickets are only $10 and are available at the box office on race day or online at www.kernraceway.com
